What to expect:

After an herbicide application, plants take from 1 day to 1 month to show signs of wilting or yellowing in color and some plants will die standing.  In most cases it is closer to a month before a true estimate of percent kill can be determined.  A return check up is always scheduled and percent kill is always guaranteed to be greater then 80% that year.  Some herbicides such as Tordon 22k and Milestone have a longer half-life and their residual will control seeds and plant growth into the following year.  Estimates of control cannot truly be determined until the following growing year.
